Welcome fall. Just a few random images I took on this oddly warm October day in Busse Woods. Advertisements
Near my home in the northwest suburbs of Chicago there is a forest preserve,
Busse Woods, which is pretty unique in that it houses a herd of elk in a 14-acre pasture.
They are enclosed and allows humans to get an up close look at these animals without the risk of being injured.
One can check the herd out by either biking around their path, or parking the car and walking up to the fenced area.
