Attempted Parade

My friend Sally and I decided to attend the South Side Irish Parade in Chicago after it’s two year hiatus thinking we would have a good time. With just our luck, by the time we took the Blue line to the Red line and a bus out there, just like hundreds of others, we found out that the parade was over and got a nice look of the Chicago cleaning crews driving around. Mind you the parade started at 11 a.m. and it was then 11:45 a.m. when we arrived. Even with the bad timing, I decided I needed to grab some sort of photos out of the adventure. Maybe we’ll have better luck next week when we go to check out the Chicago River being dyed green.
